**We are not just hosting you. We are welcoming you into our home.
**Dear friends, fellow riders and members of the Transalp family, There are places you visit. And there are places you remember forever. Greece is one of them. In 2027, the road of the International Transalp Treffen brings us together in the Peloponnese, in a land where mountains meet the sea, where ancient history is part of everyday life, and where every road has a story to tell. At the northwestern edge of the Peloponnese, beneath the medieval castle of Chlemoutsi, where the Ionian Sea stretches towards the horizon and the islands of Zakynthos and Kefalonia stand proudly across the water, we will gather at Fournia Village. Here, the sound of the sea will accompany our motorcycles. Here, the sunset will turn the horizon gold. And here, we hope that friendships which began on the road will become friendships that last a lifetime. But there is something we want you to discover that cannot be found on a map. Greek Philoxenia. For us Greeks, hospitality is not simply a tradition. It is a way of life. The ancient Greek word “Philoxenia” means love of the stranger. It is the idea that a visitor is not simply a guest, but someone who deserves to be welcomed, respected, fed, celebrated and made to feel at home. This is the hospitality we want to share with you. Our table will be your table. Our roads will be your roads. Our celebration will be your celebration. We want you to taste Greece, not only through its food and wine, but through its people. We want you to hear the laughter around the table, discover the small villages along the road, stop for a coffee beneath an old plane tree, watch the sun disappear into the Ionian Sea and, perhaps, stay a little longer than you originally planned.Because this is what ITT has always been about. Not only motorcycles. Not only kilometres. Not only destinations. It is about people. People who come from different countries, speak different languages and ride different roads, but who share the same passion for the Transalp and the same desire to travel, discover and make friends. And Greece has stories waiting for you.Very close to our meeting place are the thermal springs of Loutra Kyllinis, while the roads of the Peloponnese lead us towards some of the most important monuments of ancient Greece. You can discover Ancient Elis, Ancient Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games, and the spectacular Temple of Apollo Epicurius. But perhaps the most beautiful memories will not be found in the guidebooks. Perhaps they will be found somewhere on a winding road, with your Transalp beneath you, your friends riding behind you, and the Greek landscape opening before your eyes. And when the day is over, we will meet again. Around the table. With music. With food. With stories. With laughter. And with that unmistakable feeling that, for a few days, we are one big family. So, friends from across Europe and beyond: Come ride with us. Come discover our Greece. Come share our table. Come feel our Philoxenia. Leave your country behind for a few days. Bring your stories with you. And arrive as a visitor. Leave as a friend. The roads are waiting. The sea is waiting. The Peloponnese is waiting. And the people of Greece are waiting to welcome you.
